The daily routine for a boarder provides a balance between studies, recreation and relaxation. As the program below outlines, the days are busy but productive and allow the boarders to incorporate interest areas within their daily routine.

7:15am Woken, shower and dress
8:00am Breakfast in the dining room
8:40am Dismissed from the boarding house
8:45am - 3:25pm Normal school program, morning tea and lunch in the dining room
3:25pm - 4:00pm Afternoon tea
4:00pm - 5:30pm Recreation, activities, relaxation
5:15pm - 6:00pm 1st Study period. (Years 7 - 12)
6:00pm - 7:00pm Dinner in dining room
7:00pm - 8:00pm 2nd Study period. (Years 7 - 12)
8:05pm - 9:00pm 3rd Study period. (Years 11 -12) Juniors: supper and free time
9:00pm Seniors: supper and free time.
9:15pm Years 7 & 8 to bed - ready for bed
9.30pm - Years 7 & 8 - lights out
9:30pm Years 9 & 10 - ready for bed
9:45pm Years 9 & 10 - lights out
9:45pm Year 11 - ready for bed
10:00pm Year 11 - lights out
10:15pm Year 12 ready for bed
10:30pm Year 12 - lights out
Whilst the program is structured to provide a focus on academic achievement balanced with appropriate recreation time, it is also flexible allowing time for students to participate in the range of activities that is offered in Hamilton. These include football training, basketball, netball, dance, music and a range of other activities.
