An important aspect for all boarders is the availability and quality of the food provided.
At Monivae great care has been taken to ensure the food provided is nutritious, tasty and plentiful. This is evidenced by the number of staff who often choose have lunch in the boarders dining room (at their own expense). The menu is on a five-week rotating cycle, to make best use of seasonal produce and offer variety to the boarding students.
Vegetarians and other dietary needs are considered and can be catered for.
The meals provided are:
- Morning tea
- Afternoon tea
Packed lunches are also provided for boarders when they are required to undertake excursions as part of their normal studies.
