Vocational Education and Training (VET)
VET programs enable students to undertake accredited vocational studies within the VCE that count towards the ATAR and are an integral part of VCAL. In addition, students obtain an AQF and nationally recognised VET Certificate through partnership arrangements with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), training consultants, and industry.
VET can be studied as either a VET in Schools program through an RTO, or as an Australian School-Based Apprenticeship (SBA), which is integrated into the school curriculum.
VET courses generally take two years. VET programs combine vocational education, training and work placement. VET courses can include additional costs for materials and training. VET courses offered onsite at Monivae are:
- Sport & Recreation
- Applied Fashion
- Applied Language ( Indonesian)
- Applied Health
- Automotive Studies
- Building & Construction
- Sales Assistant
- Retail Cosmetics
