Western Country Regional Cricket Hub (WCRCH) is the result of and has ongoing support from a unique partnership with Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria, Sport and Recreation Victoria, Southern Grampians Shire and of course, its home - Monivae College.
The WCRCH includes an indoor cricket training centre with six indoor cricket pitches with bowling machines, and outdoor fenced turf ground with five pitches, outdoor turf training nets, office space for Cricket Victoria's representatives, player and umpire change rooms and a separate spectator and scorers pavilion.
Complemented by Monivae's already impressive facilities including indoor heated pool, strength and conditioning gym, large stadiums with retractable seating, wellness rooms for yoga and meditation - this is a significant asset for Western Victoria.
The venue has been recently opened and already has hosted national junior cricket tournaments including the Emerging U/19 Cricket Series and SA & VIC Country Series. Players and officials were able to make use of the on site accommodation and dining facilities vacated by Monivae's boarding cohort during the school holidays.
The Hub is a key element of the Monivae College Sports Academy (MCSA), which was launched in 2022 and continues to grown with more specialist sports being added.
