Benjamin White

Director, Learning and Teaching

Benjamin White serves as the Director of Learning and Teaching at Monivae College. With a foundation in evidence-based practice, Benjamin is leading the development of a comprehensive learning and teaching framework at the college, aimed at enhancing the educational experience for all students.

Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Teaching, with a double major in Literature and History, from the University of Adelaide. He recently completed a Master of Instructional Leadership at the University of Melbourne. In addition, Benjamin is an experienced VCE English assessor, a NAPLAN marker, and a GAT assessor.

Benjamin has a keen interest in the educational application of emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Virtual Reality, and is exploring how these innovations can transform learning and teaching at Monivae. He also plays a key role in leading Monivae College’s involvement in the New Metrics partnership with the University of Melbourne.

Prior to his current role, Benjamin was the English Faculty Leader at Monivae. A passionate educator, he has authored or contributed to several educational textbooks and articles in the field of English and Literature. He has presented at the VATE Leadership Conference, the VATE State Conference, and the AATE National Conference.
