Deputy Principal
Fiona has served as Deputy Principal of Monivae College since 2020. Before joining Monivae, Fiona was the Assistant Principal at Chevalier College, Bowral—a sister school in the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) tradition. Her extensive experience in Catholic education spans several schools in New South Wales, where she has held diverse leadership roles, including Head of Department, Year Coordinator, Curriculum Leader, and Acting Assistant Principal.
Fiona holds postgraduate qualifications in Theology and a Master of Education (Educational Leadership) from the University of Wollongong.
As a committed Catholic and lay MSC person, Fiona is deeply aligned with the values and mission of Catholic education, striving to educate the whole student. She is inspired by Jules Chevalier’s words: “It is by the heart we are something.”
With over two decades of teaching experience, Fiona has specialized in Hospitality (VET), Food Technology, Technology, and Religious Education. She has also contributed to education as an HSC marker, curriculum writer, and presenter, and has represented Catholic schools on the Catholic Education Commission’s Vocational Education and Training Advisory Group (VETAG).
